Tricon Cares continues to run for Alzheimer’s, with the fourth marathon in Houston, Texas, completed by 11 participants from the Tricon Houston and Lighthouse Chartering Team on January 16, 2022.
With enormous support from our donors, the miles flew by and the team managed to run in 4°C/ 39°F. With a single goal of fundraising to help to find a cure for Alzheimer’s, we managed to raise over $185,000 from the Houston Marathon alone, bringing total funds raised to $530,000, surpassing our original half million-dollar target!
We still have two marathons to go in our Brazil and China offices and cannot wait to kick off to keep “racing” money. We are thankful for the generous donations to date, along with the support of our runners and volunteers, all of whom have helped advance research toward finding a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease.
